Out and About

There is so much to see and do in the area around Meadowside House, you will be spoiled for choice!

Situated between the Cairngorm and Monadhliath mountain ranges, this is often regarded as a walker's paradise.  From gentle riverside walks to forest trails to arguably Britain's best hill walking - all amongst stunning scenery - there is something for all ages and abilities to enjoy.  The Forestry Commission has provided route-marked trails through its forests and these are backed up with maps and leaflets which are available at the Visitor Centre in Glenmore and at the Aviemore Tourist Office.

Meadowside House is close to the geographic centre of Scotland so much of the country is within an easy day's drive - Loch Ness, Royal Deeside, Ben Nevis, even Wester Ross and the misty Isle of Skye.
